S&S Super E on my Shovelhead SuperGlide,EFI on my Road Gilde love them both but the EFI has it hands down on the overall performance, sea level to the highest mountain on the east coast never misses a beat But I do enjoy tinkering with the ole S&S SuperE though, sorta a trip in the way back machineas Mr Peabody and Sherman would say
If I lived somewhere different with altitude and temp changes I might consider FI. However I live in South Texas on the coast. Sea level, temps don't change drastically and I know how to work on Carbs. Nothing wrong with FI, I just like Carbs. I have an 06 and it was the last year for Carbs so some day if I get another new bike it will have to be FI and I will have to learn all that alphabet stuff you FI guys are always talking about!
