Default Bikes up for winter?

I was wondering if your brike is up for the winter like mine. Just a little too much snow and cold weather here in Illinois.

Nope, 44 here today and I will ride tomorrow if it doesn't rain. Still some decent riding days left until there's too much salt and it stays on. Then I'll quit till spring.

Ride well,

Jim

In mid-Tenn the temp is often between 45-50 all winter long, but we tend to get most of our annual rain fall of around 50" during the winter months. So, we can ride, but we have to dodge the rainy days. Could be worse I'm sure.

In my part of Oregon it's raining, cold, and some snow mixed in, and we're at 400 foot sea level. so, for now it's put up. I thought about taking it out this morning about 5:00 but, the pavement on our street had ice frozen into it, so, no thanks for now.

Wow! I am farther south than that and we have been seeing teens to mid 20's at night and 40 during the day. It is suppose to get in the mid 50's tomorrow with no rain time to ride. My bike doesn't sit long enough for winter treatment. I ride down to 15-20 degrees providing it isn't freezing rain or rain. Don't do snow or ice.
I do understand about the salt it sure can make a mess of the wheels and other parts.

No winter storage here for bike or boat down in the armpit of the United States. LOUISIANA. Scenery sucks but the fishing is great.
