New member, new rider, 1st post -Just looking for some feedback from you experienced riders. I bought a new 06 Road King (July06)which now has nearly 12K miles and I'm looking to improve the sound by adding some V&H slip ons (I perfer the oval's sound). Since this is my first bike, it was suggested that I could improve the engine performance and horse power by going to a true dual system. Would anyone comment on the amount of horse power increase I could expect to see and is it a worthwhile investment?
I also understand that I'll need a fuel pack and an upgraded air filter. If anyone has a recommendation on the air filter upgrade, I'd appreciate it. Currently looking at the Screamin Eagle Air filter and also the Screamin Eagle Heavy Blower system
I'd also like to comment on a previous thread, about the engine mount problem. On my particular bike, I ride regularly, have nearly 12K on it and have not noticed any engine mount issues yet.
If you click on search at the top of the page you are going to find more infromation on what you are asking that you would care to read... look it up and you will be very informed....
