Just got to see my first one in person, When you sit on it you can't tell where the front tire is.
not to hurt anyones feelings but that thing is fugly[sm=smiley26.gif]
yea, I saw them at the New York motorcycle Show and they don't do much for me either. They even had the Arlen Ness one there and I still couldn't come to like it.
Just my opinion.
I could ALMOST handle the looks, but the fairing lowers KILL it for me. Try to picture it with just the upper part of the fairing, ala batwing, and its ALMOST ok, even though its pretty far out there...
The parent company (Polaris) isn't doing well. Victory is not selling as well as anticipated and the Vision will be a total flop. The only thing Polaris makes that is selling well is the Ranger/Razor and they can't produce them fast enough to keep up with the demand.
Was kinda waiting to see the Vision before making my final decission. Well I saw one, sat on it, started it up, and promptly went and bought my 08 Ultra. The Vision looks like it's the same length as a bus, and I can't justify sepnding over 20k on plastic mouldings.
I was interested in the Victory Tour Cruiser in 2005. In 2006 I bought a brand new Road King Classic. Go glad I didn't buy the Tour Cruiser because they discontinued it. The Vision does absolutely nothing for me. I would never own one of them, even if someone else gave me the money. I don't like the way it looks at all.
Then there's the King Pin Tour. Another flop. They just put small bags, a small trunk and a windshield on the King Pin. Never did like the looks of the King Pin either.
From the looks of Victory motorcycles, one wonders who their target customers are. I don't think they are luring Harley types away from Harley Davison.
And this made in America bunk is all crap. Ever notice how many H-D accessories are made in Taiwan? Everything is made in China these days. Look at all that Chinese stuff in Wal Mart (China Mart?). Not to mention the Chinese fish they sell in Winn Dixie and Chinese Christmas cards in K-Mart. OK, I'm off the motorcycle topic.....
