Default air deflector question

Does anyone know why this model air deflector http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_USwont fit on a 2007 Street Glide? Did they change the mold for the inner fairing? Is the bolt pattern different? I saw the other styles (HD and aftermarket)but dont seem to like the way the look.I asked three different dealers and all three gave me completely different anwsers that have nothing to do with each other, which proves the myth of they really dont know what there talking about if it isnt written in the book. So.........uh, whats the deal? Why wont it fit?

4 screws as opposed to 3. Can be adapted to fit though.

I have the defelectors on my 07 FLHT... $30 MSRP. I think these should fit a 07 Street Glide.

What dawg said.

Hey I know I'm getting off topic herebut dawg did you ever post any pics of your front end after you got it blacked out? I may do the same thing andI'd like to see what it looks like with the copper and black paint. Sorry to steal your idea but I think I'm gonna like the look.

I picked those up for my 07 SG and they don't fit - quite a bummer. I went with the freedom wings and am quite happy with them.
I got them at the local dealer for $75 - was a bit skeptical but they worked out nicely.

That's what I was looking for.Think youjust made up my mind. Nothing against chrome but I think with those paint colors the black works too and it's something a little different.

You're not missing much, imo. I installed them on my 08 SG and they do not deflect wind. Those should be called wind directors instead of deflectors. A waste of a $100.00 bill, in my experience.

They are different. Went to the dealer and had them measure. The spacing is different on the 08s. I went with the Freedom Wings too, but like the harley deflectors much better.
