Where do you mount the horn once it's removed?

I will wait to see how things are after it gets warm this summer. I have the parade mode enabled when I picked her up. Lot of money...just take back roads and see the sights.

PRADE MODE - Only works when the bike is @ idle - any RMP's will shitch it back to regular mode... I had it installed and had them remove it after about 30 days (it's free once)... RJ Orignals made the differance in the Summer Heat for us...

Geoff,Most mount the horn in the fairing and some just use a sportster horn mounted from the down tube.

Just out of curiosity, why did you have it removed?

They are prone to short lives. The vibes from the engines seems to kill them.

I've got one and it works real good.

I'm in an area that the interstate perodically turns into a parking lot for hours at a time. You end up stop and go every minute or so, its you either keep the bike running or duck walk.

I'm not going to get hot and tired duck walking an have it fall over, so I chose to keep it running.

Yeh, it will blow hot air thats what it does, and keeps the engine cool doing it. Also have Rj's to deflect from legs so its not all that bad.

I think that its a good investment.

As for some other less then desirable responses to the fan that I've heard others complain about, it will start to make bearing noise from the fan.

I've not experianced that one so I'm not sure that its a very commonfailure.
