My question is probably 2 parts I suppose, and that's because I'm pessimistic about the answer on the first.
I've got V&H Big Shot Duals, SE A/C and the PC3 with the map off of Dynojets website for that set up. If I were to take out my baffles, would I really need to re-map my scoot??? Or if I did, even with a re-map, is this a good idea?? I'd just like to make it a little louder....no one's ever said that before!! J/K
Secondly, If I do need a re-map, does anyone have one for my set up minus the baffles??? Or would I have to get it dyno tuned for sure???
I would second the "don't take out the baffles" sentiment. I had Samson slip-ons and about 15 minutes after the warranty ran out, right side baffle broke loose. The rattle produced drove me nuts so I pulled the baffles on both pipes. Big mistake. Very noticable loss of bottom end power (sorta like the extra noise though) even after remapping it on the dyno. Ran it that way for about 6 months while waiting on the right deal for new pipes and would have welcomed the rattle back if I still had the baffles.
