How to keep denim finish clean???

How do you clean the denim finish and how would you protect the paint?

I used Glass Plus Wipes on my Night Rod Special. It worked great and removed oil from fingerprints/handprints.

hmmm, so no waxing to protect the paint? Or, perhaps HD sells something they reccomend for celan and protection I'm not aware of??? Remember, I'm new to all of this :-)

I went to a bike show in hartford this weekend. Saw a product called ACE IT spray on polish . vendor claimed that harley uses it to remove finger prints and smudges form denim finish at factory.the web site is www.cycle shine.com

the manual says to use windex on times u dont wash the bik and if u do to use dish soap. Over time, the paint will change on u just like that on levi jeans. So thats what Im doing, until it startes lookin like 15 year old jeans, thats what ill do....besides, its an excuse to paint the tins after.....lol.

No wax on the demin paint unless you want a glossy paint job. I use dishwashing soap to clean the whole bike, wheels and all. Touch-up cleaning with windex spray and a soft cloth.

Hmmmmm...I use S100 just like I've used on the other bikes. I never considered that there needed to be any kind of special attention to the wash and care of the denim finish. Does anyone reccomend against that?
