Default Backrest question

I bought used Harley backrest from Ebay, but no instructions with, and no adjusting bolt to back of backrest, so what kind of thread and lenght of bolt I should have to get proper adjustment? here is pic of it

I can email you instructions (forum won't let me attach file).

But, look inside the hole in the back of the pad. You might see a black allen head bolt. It's hard to see unless you get the grommet lined up with it.

As above stated move the back cover with the metal grommet in it around until you line it up with allen screw and then slip your wrench in and tighten or loosen. It should be there unless the previous owner took it out and I can't imagine why they would do that.
