Need Help From HD Painters & Experts
I am in the process of adding a FLHX rear fairing to my 05' FLHTPI. My delemia is that I can not find the matching paint from Harley. I have had the body shopI am working with scan thecolor and spray the parts and they did not match verywell. I "think" the paint name is Mystique Green. The bike is one solid color and came from the Spokane Washington Sheriffs Department. I have talked to a number of dealers with no avail. I have even contacted my ace in the hole, Harleypingman, on this forum. And while Harleypingman went out of his way to provide me good information I am looking for anyother opinions.I have called HD Customer Service but they have not be able to help, at least not yet.
After reading a few posts on this site, I have removed the fuel tank and foundthree stickerson the underside. Can any of you folks help me out?

I am thinking on Tag 2 the "NS" means Non-Standard but I am not sure. The color I am looking for is shown on the 08' police bikes and can be seen in the attachment below.

Any help you could provide in matching this color would be appreciated.
Ironhead
And to avoid duplication of information, I found the "Mystique Green" in the HD paint book with the latest year information being PN 98603BM, quart; 98606BM, aerosol; and 98600BM, touch-up for model year 1999.
I also inferred that since the '99 color did not call for the Urethane Activator, PN 99825-02 that the newer paints require, that it is an older paint system. And, since the quart size colors currently use the basic PN 98609 with a two or three letter paint code, the current PN for Mystique Green would be 98606BM.
This same change in PN was the case with birch white when I was looking at buying HD paint for my '04 FLHTPI.
BVBOB posted on another forum that the PPG paint code for 1999 Mystique Green is: Mystique Green 47981.
Jason, it may help if you clarify what colors your painter tried. Did he try the PPG code? Did he try the HD PN's previously provided.
Have you called HD Tech via the MOCO website contact information? It's obviously a current color and unlikely that Spokane PD paid for custom painting.
Interesting problem; hope you get it resolved. Try sending BVBOB a PM and ask him.
PPG is how I have had dealings with.
