I used this to do a lot of Deutsh and AMP crimps and found it did the job. Some minor dressing of the crimp is necessary at times, but effective. Just keep the tool away from the barrel portion of the pin/socket you are crimping since that's where the locking mechanisms are.
Ladd industries is the US importer & all orders goes through the,. It cost me $265 if my memory serves me correctly. I do not work for Ladd but do my own wiring. I do not think there is a tool for this that is inexpensive.
