Default MINI APES on an Ultra Classic?
I'm not happy with my stock handlebars. Does anybody know if I can put higher handlebars on my Ultra, without affecting the fairing? I don't want full apes, just minis, or about halfway up. And, I don't want to modify anything. Thanks.

Just put hd tallboy bars on 08 Ultra. A little higher & wider. Much better then the stock bars.

Can't do pics. Pretty easy job wen't +4 on clutch cable all wires were long enough 08 has throttle by wire so don't know about throttle cables brake line was long enough also. Definetly worth doing. Hope this info helps

I have got my 13 cyclesmiths mounted on my ultra and got the wires run through the bars, waiting on cables and chrome forks. Should have everything togather sunday night or monday. I can post pics of the process after that. Do a search here for apes on an ultra/bagger you will find all you need. CWilks has some 16s on his that look good.
