Daytona Bike Week
Wondering how many are not going to bike week this year just because of high fuel prices, from Michigan its 1200 miles one way, Duramax gets 14 mpg with bike trailer, at $3.50 per gal we just spent $600 in fuel alone. If Diesel goes up another .50 per galit's close to another $100. Before our economy can get better the powers that be need to get a handle on the fuel prices. Fuel cost half of our Bed and Breakfast stay for a week.
I was going to give you a bunch of grief about why not ride the damn thing but I realized you are in the great white north.
It's easy to forget when you live in warmer climates, especially living in Tx and was once a Fla native.
BUT on another note, if you can afford a truck with aDuramax, a nice trailer,B&Band a Harley......whats a fewhundred bucks?
Sorry - just jealous because my old GAS 02truckhas 150K on it and myrusty open double axle flatbed becomes a single axleevery time I go over a small bump. BE HAPPY, at least you ain't camping or staying in the no tell motel! Oh miss, can you change the sheets, where is the complimentary breakfast and I didn't get my free USAToday yet or my chocolate under the pillow.
And I thought from the political news that no one in Michagan had ajob......you have it good.
