Just wanted to show you guys some pictures of my new 14inch wild 1s and the chrome controls I just had installed....Its like riding a new bike all over again.... Let me know what you think thanks
You've opened up a bunch of eyes and more questions? How'd the fly-by-wire work with these? How was it done? Did you do it yourself? How do they feel? etc, etc....
I wish I had some answers for you jonny...I had a dealership do it and they said it was no problem..they have done about 8 bikes so far so they knew what they were doing
Well give em a call, please, and find out what they did as far as the new throttle set up? I'm sure a bunch of us on here would be happy to hear how it was done? Also if the new bars came "notched" for the new throttle or if they had to do it? How do you like them?
I really like the bars there awesome I just called them and they said that the wiring for the throttle was long enough..they had to extend everything else but the throttle wires..and the wild one bars are the new ones and they already had the notches in them I hope that makes some sence...if not theres a reason I had someone else install them
Youngrider, I appreciate you doing that. That is good to know about the bars coming pre-notched, and wow the wires were long enough for the throttle... I heard they put in extra wiring. Thanks again, Jon
Just out of curiosity, how tall are you? I'm trying to get an idea for bars for me. Did you get them strictly for tooling around town, short trips. Or do you plan to tour with them?
