Alright guys this might be a very stupid question but what the heck. 98 ful injected eglide and I am wanting to do a stage 1 kit. Question is how do I know if it already has it? Pulled off air cleaner and appears to have K&N type filter? Not sure if that is stock on those or not. Looked all around for part #'s and only thing was on back of filter (A062A4). Does have stock cover and the filter is mounted to a plate. Any help would be appreciated

Sounds like the filter was replaced by the P/O. You can still do the stage I, just sell the old one to your buddy. Does it still have the stock backing/mounting plate?

? not sure if it has the stock mounting plate. Is there a way to tell? BTW it does have SE slip on's , so it might make sense that prior owner did a stage 1 or at least a filter
