12v Supplemental power for RKC2002

I am planning a long distance ride and wanted to add an additional power source to my RKC2002 but the only one HD offers is part number91843-97 and it says it fits all touring models except FLHRCI. It doesnt explain why and no one at HD seems to be able to give me an answer. If anyone has any suggestions or knows of one that will fit my ride i would appreciate it.

I installed it on my bike and it works fine. I wondered the same thing and read that others had installed it, so I gave it a shot. Seems to work fine.

Thanx for the response. I wasnt sure if it affected the electrical system if any other components were attached to the auxillary.

Hello, I have the very same doubt. I own the very same bike (2002 FLHRCI) and wonder why HD said that the 91843-97&nbsp\\;does'nt fit my bike...somebody with pics of the part on a bike to see how it looks installed?
