Will this amplifier fit in the fairing? Read all the positive reviews on it. I think I'm going to go with this amp and the Alpine SPX Ref 5.25 components mounting in the fairing.
Looking at the dimmensions, I'd say no. I tried the Blaupunkt PNP THA 275 amp, and it barely fit with a much smaller footprint: 6-3/4"W x 1-11/16"H x 7-1/4"D
BTW...the Blaupunkt amp was junk and I am in the process of replacing it with the hawg-wired...$480ish shipped from shooter64
You won't fit that amp in the fairing, but you can mount it in the bags as others have done. I just bought the Pioneer FD class amp and I am in the midst of installing in on the bike right now. Just waiting to get the tins back as they are out for custom paint. Here's a link to the installation thread I started a couple weeks ago. More to come...
