Got new fairing brackets
Went to lunch Wednesday. Came out, got on. Back out of the parking spot and headed for the exit.
Pull up at the stop sign. Sitting there waiting for traffic to clear.
Take my foot off the brake pedal and hold it with the front brake lever.
Fairing starts shaking like never before. Extremely violent. Mirrors are beyond a blur.
Take it to dealer after work. Leave it overnight.
13,352 miles and both upper brackets were cracked. Warranty covered new brackets & install.
Was told that there is a new design to rectify big problem MoCo was having with the original ones and that the new ones were installed.
Front end is rock solid now. Very little vibration over normal HD shake.
If your fairng seems to be shaking more than normal or more than it should, have your dealer check them out.
Did a search here and found the problem pretty prevalent and alot of people were fabbing or modifying their own.
I'll see how these "new and improved" brackets work out.
