Default Looking for info on Fullsack Exhaust

I have a 2007 FLHTC and i'm interested in learning more about the Fullsack Exhaust system. Ive heard about them but have never heard them and i want my bike to be loud. If you have any information i would be grateful.

I gotem on my bike, it will definetly make it louder, will sound more like a harley, the crossover will not muffle the tone, I like em. like there add says, insist on a fullsac, everything else is just a half sac. Lots of guys here will tell you to go to 2 into 1 because you will have more low end torque, but if your ultimate goal is to just make it louder, I think you are taking the right path. Todd

If ya just want LOUD.... Just change Slip-Ons - Thunderheaders might be what your looking for or Fishtails

But LOUD does not mean PERFORMANCE

I installed a similar conversion kit made by Torres cycles. I did it mostly to get rid of that hot pipe on the RH side. Along with the V&H ovals, my bike is 5 times louder than stock. Sould I buy the Torres kit again? Probably not because they raised their price to the point where you could buy the V&H dresser duals kit for just a few bucks more.

BTW, This bike has plenty of power for me so I'm nost worried about the torque loss everyone is talking about.

I have straight fishtail pipes, and my bike is loud... I was thinking of the fullsac, just because I like the looks better, but louder is fine with me... I just don't have the money...

its not neccasarily louder its more even sound now. with the stock set up you get more sound out of the right side than the left. dont getme wrong it is a little louder. its worth it i like mine, simple install. the hardest part was monkeing with the heat shields.

I've got mine installed on an 06 FLHTI and I also went with some 2.5 inch mufflers recored by BobVic. He's a member of this forum and the work looks great. When I first bought the bike I didn't have a major budget for true duals or slip ons since the price for these are real expensive. I've seen lots of bike local to me with the rush pipes and they sound great. Most everyone that installs duals want the Harley sound since the crossover really muffles it and also they do it to get rid of the heat issues during the summer months. I did it for both reasons and also to see more of the engine. It'sa real nice sound with the conversion and it only took me 2 hours to install, most of the fun is messing with the stock heat shields. Hope this helps ya in your decision. The pipes are not that loud, only when you open em up and you'll like the sound if you go with the conversion.
