Cover can be a pain if they need to come off for service. Most likely some will get ruined.
Chrome bolts, hard to beat the HD ones. They are nice and a fair price. Just a caution though they can rust if the chrome is roughed up on the bolt install.
Alloybolts.com is polished stainless. Never rust and have looked great on my bike for the last 2 years. Cheaper than Diamond enigneering and equal quality.
Dont buy the individual hardware kits for the motor. find a slow day and have the parts guy pull the bolts you need out of the bin they are cheaper this way.
Colder than sin here. So I've been polishing stainless steel bolts. I agree with BAGGERDSM. If you go with chrome be carefullon the install as they will rust big time. Nothing worse than chrome rust...........
Just a tip... I had an old timer tell me once to put a little clear finger nail polish on the heads of the bolts once you torque them and they will not rust on you. It has work for the few I have, but I have not replaced all of mine yet.
