Default ehaust flow

I am pulling this thread back from the dead as I have never seen an answer to this question. Especially sinse I too feel a stronger pressure on the jiffy stand side than I do on the air cleaner side.

My first thoughts when I read the title, why post in the touring section? Then I saw it was a RK; not a 96B motor

Interesting, with the factory 2-1-2 headpipe the right side (air cleaner side) should have more flow

My stock 07 was harder out the right side and the right side has the clogged up emmisions stuff in it. The left side pipe is just a small plate baffle. I took a bar and rammed it through the left side muffler and then swapped it to the right side...it was really night and day then.

The stock exhaust goes like this:

front header..all right side.

rear header....mostly right pipe and some left. The crossover pipe greatly favors the right side exit.

I put a fullsac conversion on(simple) and both are even.

Default Exhaust flow

I will probably not be visiting my local stealer for a while as I am no longer under warranty. I was hoping for a definitive answer from the rider/experts in the know. I don't think they could be backwards as the dimples for the left side right side are where they are supposed to be. Now this is stock exhaust I am inquiring about. Or.......I could go ahead and order a set of the recored super-flows and end the issue all together. I am curious though, aren't you?
