payments? intrest rates? what in the world are you talkin about???
My thoughts exactly!
Me too.
Let me make it simple for ya... if my money is in the bank making twice as much interest as I can borrow it for, why would I use my money??? It is cheaper, (well was) to use HD's money and pay them the couple of points interest then for me to use my money making 5.5% sitting where it is...
first - I'm impressed that anyone can pay cash for their bike...... good for you. I'm just a poor boy trying to make it, and making payments is the only way I can ride.
second -I financed through EagleMark Bank also. I auto-draft the payments through my bank, USAA, and it costs me nothing extra and the paymentsare on time, every time. HOWEVER, I have it set to pay as soon as I get notice of the payment due - so, I'm paying it about 10 days before it's due. hence - no late fees or escalating interest charges.
I have had no problem with them at all. I have the auto-payment setup and there is no extra charge for it. Into my 2nd year. I get an email on the same day each month saying the funds have been withdrawn from my bank and applied to my account.
This is what I would have done, but now that I am mad, the money is no longer an issue. I will not pay them their couple of points interest. They will be paid in full by the end of the week. even if I use my HEL and do a FRO, it is still about the same with the write off.
