Wrong answer.You certainlydo not want the a@@hole to survive. He will probably get probation without ever spending a night in jail if he survives the encounter. To top it all off he will probably sue your a$$ (and he will win because of all the bleeding hearts) for macing him. The only way to make sure he don't sue you is to make sure there is only one side of the story to be told to the nice police officers when they come to investigate the body laying inside your garage.

Home security system, bike security system, disc lock when stored, dog, plenty of firepower. I at least want to make it a pain in the a$$ to get it but there is only so much you can do.
Beyond that I still figure if someone wants it bad enough they are going to get it so I have good insurance as well.
