Default Help; Front wheel spacer question????

I just got my new PM 21inch wheel and when I took the old wheel off I did not notice that the two spacers are different widths. I put the new wheel on and now it wont spin freely. I swapped the spacers around and now it seems to spin a little better. One spacer does say L and the other R; is this sitting on the bike or standing in front of it????One more question isit possible that the bake pads need to set in a little. I don'twant them to heat up and cause the front wheel to lock up....... any help is appreciated

FYI- left and right is ALWAYS considered to be from "behind the steering wheel/handle bars " on any vehicle.

i noted in the manual that the left side frt wheel spacer on my FLHTC had 3 notches on one side that were supposed to be on the bearing side. yet it was installed with the notches outboard toward the axle nutwhen i took it apart.what is the purpose of this and could it have caused any damage???

It's normal to have some drag, depends on how much you have. Try a buds bike to see if it is about the same.

Is your rotor centered in the brake pads? This could be what is causing you "binding". You might need to look at shiming the calipers and/or adjusting the wheel spacing with different length spacers. I had to on mine. The PM hub could be slightly wider or narrower than a stock hub. Measure them both if you can.
