That leads me to another question......if the OEM spacers have grooves in them and have to go back together whatever way they specify, how come you can buy a chrome wheel spacer kit and it doesn't matter which way you install it because it has no grooves? What do the grooves do?

yep i'd like ta know that too. why be so specific in the manual if it doesnt matter?????????

Update; I ended up taking it to a shop; Mech checked my bike and made sure that I had shimmed the calipers correctly. He told me that everthing would seat in fine but did notice that one of my rotors was a bit warped. It had to have been that way on my stock wheel but I never noticed. He said it wouldn't be a problem; it was very minor. Oh well thanks for the help.
