Default Touring Bags

I am hoping you guys can give some recommendations on a tour bag for my Custom. I will be attaching it to the rider backrest and may be adding a sissy bar in the future (a few years). I would like the bag to be full when traveling for 2-4 days solo, but also have a second part that can attach when the wife and I take a weekender to carry her stuff, too. She would be riding the sportster so the bag would still be attaching to the rider backrest. It would have to be waterproof or have a rain cover. I'm hoping to get one that will last a life time and be versatile for under $200or so.

There are so many out there to choose from and most of the catalogs don't have any detail about the attaching straps.

Oh, yeah, it has to look cool, too!

Badger:

Check out www.denniskirk.com where they have some good "T-Bags" and others that should do what you want. I've dealt with them for many years. Great customer service, pricing matching (even beating your best deal by $1), and if you don't like it, they take it back -- no questions asked.

Hope that helps!
