What year is your bike ? On the 08 Classic & Ultra there is no longer a spider bracket. The ECM has been moved on TOP of the battery and after you plug it in you route it into the left side cover and attach it to your fuse box by double sided tape. Just did mine on 08 Ultra last night, QWIK and EASY !!! Save your $$$$$
So now that you guys have the Fuel Pak installed on the 08 touring bikes, how do they perform and what is your set up, i.e. air cleaner, exhaust and is there a noticeable difference in performancewith less heat???

Put one on my 08' SG today and took it out for an hour or so. So far YIPPEE. You may have seen another post or two of mine regarding not being able to get my bike to behave using a PCIII. Since I'm likely not going into the motor on this bike, get decent milage and the engine heat subsides some, I'll be happy. I am disappointed though that the PC didn't work out. I've used em' in the past with a lots of success. It would lend for more flexibility if I change my mind later.
My setup: Stock headpipes, Suppertrapp SE slipons (with Fuelmoto power baffles) and a SE high flow air cleaner.
an hour???????? for what a coffee and a donut for 40 min and then hook it up?
good god they try to rip us off.
they quoted me 2.5hrs to install an oil cooler
Bulldogmoe......glad to see another english bulldog owner on the site! I have a boy, Ripken who will be 2 in May. He's the best!!!!
This is what they quoted me. One hour for slip on pipes, One hour for Stage 1 A/C kit, One hour for V&H Fuel Pak, and One hour for Sissy Bar. I feel sort of stuck due to the fact that I basically bought the bike for a steal. MSRP Black Pearl, cruise, they threw in the security system and $2000 in parts and accessories. Do I still try to push the issue on installation? What do you guys think?
I'm thinking it should only take a half hour for the slip ons, a half hour for the Stage 1 A/C kit, I'm doing the V&H Fuel Pak, and one hour for the sissy bar.
