The Fuelpak is as easy to install as a lightbulb. If you run V&H pipes it's a no-brainer with the pre-sets.
I put one in my 06 SG (with a stage 1 kit) but it came out of calibration a few months later. I called V&H and they said it can happen, but a it's a pretty rare thing. I reset per the code match to my pipes and its run run sweet for 1-1/2 years now.
You bought the bike from them and owe them nothing! Take all the parts home and do it yourself, it's easy and you'll enjoy getting to know your bike. Use the money to buy some other rediculously priced H-D accessory.
Like everyone so far has said, everything that you have mentioned parts wise is a piece of cake. Do it yourself, save the $$$$ and learn a little bit about your bike. You'll be glad you did.
I know this has a lot to do with personal opinion but why did you choose the Fuel Pack for your '08 Ultra. I have a deposit on mine and I'm already looking for items I going to change and fuel is one of them along with Stage 1 and different pipes.
