I am considering the purchase of an '08 Street Glide. I think the deal is good - list price, no delivery or setup fee, half of the sales tax back as an in store credit & 15% off of parts and 15% of of performance related labor (installation of pipes, tuner, dyno, filter, etc.).
Now that I have my '05 Road King Classic just how I wanted it I figured it was time for a new bike. ERRRR.
I have a few questions for those that have gone before:
Will Reinhart 2 into 1 reduce lean angle due to the size of the muffler? Someone indicated that with a 2 into 1 you loose some of the Harley sound. True? Are they overly loud? Is it louder than their true duals? Would anyone advise against 2 into 1 besides that fact that some think they look funny on baggers.
Is the stock seat a 50 mile seat like my Road King Classic was?
I am thinking about going the other way and blacking out the front end and engine guard adding no chrome. Anybody do this? Happy with the look?
Any other things that have come up that I may need to change? My RKC was lowered & I don't have any problem with the ride.

I have a street glide and I love it..... I would suggest that you use the search button on top of the page for every question you can possibly think of and you would get some great answers. I believe that you will find an answer to each question you asked...some of these guys get very touchy when you ask something that has been asked many times before...Just warning you,, pull the trigger and get the SG you will love it.Good Luck...
I tried the Harley one on my Road King and could not use it because of coearance issues. The eBay link above for the billet chrome pulleylooks really nice for $200. Wonder who makes em.
