I'm really itching to hear tunes on my new Road King, however I don't want a hard fairing. Does anyone have any experience with any aftermarket stereos/speakers for the road king that don't look to ugly, and aren't going to break the bank? Pics would be great! P.S. all my music is on the iPod so it hopefully would be ipod compatible.
I use and like rumble road speakers http://www.mhinstruments.com/products/
I also use a remote for the ipod so I can put it in my saddle bag and control volume song etc....
here is a pic of them on my bike
I liked my J&M speakers on my RoadKing - had them for 6 years - no problems.. ran my Ipod through them. Sorry no pic's. They are a very clean and easy install and your can still hear them when you are running 85...................
check these guys out too. Also, a little pricet, but they are small and not too clunky which is what I am looking for. i hopefully will be purchasing a set up soon.
J & M are probably the best looking and go well with the bike...purchase the XM sattelite mouont and u will love them...I have my set for many years and they have been on three bikes...J & M have fixed them at no charge even thought they are out of warranty...had a bad ground....little pricey but worth it
