Just installed a Fat Cat on my 06 EGC. Contacted Dynojet about a map, but it pretty much ran like crap. Getting quite a bit decel popping. Tried a few different maps, but got limited success. Any help with a map? I tried a search, with no results. Thanks
Who did you get your pcIII from? if it was Jamie at fuelmoto he will be happy to send you a map if not you may have to get it dynoed to get it to run right, if you cant find someone with a similar build
No, I didn't buy it from Jamie. I bought it before I knew of this forum, otherwise I would have. Not sure I want to mess around with settings, but so far I'm not having much luck and might have to.
Yes, I zeroed the throttle pos. As I was looking for info I came across the harley bulletin that deals with the wrong fuel injectors on my bike. Before I go any farther with this, I'm going to look into getting this fixed. I checked, and mine are the 8 degree, and the bike runs awful without a fuel mngmnt system. Through this forum I may have found the glitch!

I seriously doubt a canned map is going to work very well on your bike. my advice is to take your bike to a good dyno shop and have it tuned. Otherwise it's all just a guessing game.
This is the reason I'm selling my PCIII in favor of a SERT. My bike is stock. With the work you've had done, it will be even harder to find a canned map that fits your hardware.
Just my opinions here. Anyone else???????

Thanks for the info, sifularson. First I'm going to see if I can get one of the local dealers to put in the right fuel injectors. I'll try the PCIII again, and if I can't get it to run right, I may go to a Thundermax and just set it and forget it. I'm not a fan of dynos as you to have it done whenever you make a change. My bike ran great with a canned map until I installed the Fat Cat. But first, the fuel injectors!

I was going to suggest you go to the Tmax. Seems like the best choice for someone like you who is making performance changes beyond stage 1. I'm going to stop at stage 1 so I'm hoping to have it tuned once and forget it.
