A buddy of mine is looking to put a stereo or mp3 player on his Rocket 3.where is a good place to look for something like that?He doesn't have a fairing.I looked at Hawg-wired,Biketronics,Hogtunes and no luck. Thanks
Mike
I set up my amp for my Ipod so I can put it in a windshield bag and take it out when I need to. The amp puts out 150 watts, and the speakers I made are 110 watts each. Ended up painting the speakers my bike color. Sound is great and clear at 80 mph.
He should call Corbin. I was out there a few months back and saw them working on a radio-equipped fairing for the Rocket III. I paid particular attention, having owned a Rocket III at the time. It looked pretty slick â haven't seen it on their website, but I'll bet someone there could tell him more...
TRIUMPH. It's actually a very cool bike, but a question probably better suited for a Triumph forum. I'm sure someone who rides a Rocket III could be more helpful than those of us here in the HD forum. As someone else mentioned, J&M Corp would be one option and maybe Autocomm might have somethign that could work as well.
I've seen the bike... I like it... kind of a road king look to it... with a big @ss motor, LOL... Tell your buddy to look into adding speakers, and an amp into his saddlebags... some here have done it, and say it works well... I know it is something I will be doing for my rk custom, once I get some hard bags...
