Thanks for the advise. There is a guy on ebay that makes and sells 4" winshields for about $15.HD wants over $100. For only $15 think I'll give the cheap one a try. Damn stealer, $100 for a piece of plastic ... ????
They cost $15 for a reason. A quality windshield that is preformed to your fairing is worth spending a bit more.
I have purchased a lot (more than 6) of the cheapo windshields only one broke--the guy promptly sent me another one.
The quality is not like HD -- if you leave on the bike long enough the curve will occur naturally --

I don't think you will like it. Looks cool but I had one on my bike when I bought it and the wind hit me right in the face and made my glasses jump around on my head causing blurred vision. I now have one that is about 6" and it is perfect for me. I see over it and the wind goes over my head.
Just so you know i'm only 5'4" tall.
I'm 5'6" and the 6"was almost perfect until I lowered my rear 1". Now I have to have very good posture to see over it. The 4" would not allow my triple bags to stay.
The 6" puts the wind way over my head, but it really doesn't take much to be over my head !
