Default Desert Dawg Problem

Just recieved a pair of Desert Dawgs listed for Road Glides. Tried to put them on my 2005 RGwith factory guards. Minor problem the lower fairing supports that mount on the guard are in the way. Has anyone had this problem and is there an easy solution or do I have to unbolt the faring clamps, force the clamps away from the guard while trying to slip the Dawgs past the clamps?

Probably so, even without lower fairings you have to adjust your hi-way pegs to match up to slots in covers.
