OK I think I have decided to go with the bassani power curve headers. Now I am trying to decide what mufflers to buy. I can get a set of the CFR Cary Faas Racing mufflers for cheap. I know a guy who is selling some. I know these mufflers are loud correct? Any input on these mufflers with these headers would be appreciated. I know you guys have the knowledge and experience with this stuff. This is my first Harley and just trying to figure out what I like. thanks guys!

Hey bro, I have a set on rinehart head pipes. Yes, they are loud! They are REALLY DEEP! They are pretty good at low rpms, and seem to quiet down real nice on the hwy, but BARK loud when you wick the throttle! I love them! I may try to install some cheap baffles at the end of the head pipe and see if they quiet down a bit. I want to ride the bike to work and may **** the neighbors off the way they are.
BTW, that sound bit provided sounds nothing like mine.... I'm sure it's the recording...it's hard to get the real feel for sound without being there in person. Mine are MUCH deeper.
Hey Speedglide! What's goin'on? I think I sent you your CFR's. I'm glad to hear that you like them. They were sure deep and loud with my stock headpipes. Other than the volume, I loved the sound. I bet they'll deliver great numbers with the right AC and tune. I've seen quite a few tricked out roadglides with CFR's up here in the northwest. They really stand out. Very good looking mufflers!

I know that Eastside HD in Bellevue has been accessorizing Road Glides w/ CFR mufflers lately. Nice looking bikes, but they want a ton for them. Here's a pic of one I saw at the Easyriders show in Vancouver last month. Didn't get a good pic of the CFR mufflers.
