Totally worth it! My bike is loud, and even when I am on the highway doing 80+ I can hear my music clear and loud! This is THE best system for our bikes, and the crew at Hawg-Wired is great to deal with. Don't just get the amp though...get their speakers too - they rock!
I am ready to make this purchase also. There are two options on the two channel systems. [DSC/SX/2C$675.00] [PSC/CX/2CH $825.90] the latter more powerfull speakers and amp, I am steering towards the more powerfull. was wondering who is running which system as I am hearing all positive comments,
I just installed the "plug-and-play" DCS1202 system with SX speakers. It's simple to install and sounds great to me. I chose that system because I tend to hold onto bikes for a short time and then pick up something new. This would be just as easy to uninstall as it was to put in.
The guys at Hawg-Wired are incredibly helpful and patient with questions. They explained that the PSC system was a better system, but for what I wanted â just crisper, louder sound on the highway without a messy install â the direct connect would be fine. And so far it is, at least in the driveway. Too icy in New Jersey to test it any further.
I also have the 120 watt amp and sx speakers, You will be very pleased with the sound at hwy speeds, been riding around for the last few days enjoying the heck out of my tunes with earplugs in. I also did the lowers, no amp going to those.
I think I would bite the bullet and get the four in your face system if I was to do it again, always get that (hmm, what would that be like) feeling inside. Although It did bothered me having spent $70.00 on a hinge four the tour pack. go figure
