Default 96" Cam Only

Whose run a 'cam only' stage 1 (stock heads no big bore) on an '07 or '08? Eventually I'll do a 103" W/heads but that's next year, in the mean time it's gonna be just a cam. I've searched quite a bit but haven't found much and the way the search function is.. NOT, thought I'd just ask. I'm looking at a TW6 or TW7H and have gotten a bit of feedback from a few (thanks guys). What my concern is, is that I'll be running it with only cams for about a year and don't want to end up overcammed but would like to see some gains. I've gotten several suggestions but I'd really like to hear from you guys that have run this set up, which cams, your impressions, dyno numbers if you have them. If I have to bump up the cams when I do the build, that's ok. Bike is in sig

On a stock 96" Andrews 26 would be ideal. Might as well wait until you build the motor, then choose your cam.

+1, it's like Phil says, make sure the parts compliment each other. You could always throw in a bolt in cam, like the Andrews 26, Head Quarters 34, SE 204, ect, and see how the bike feels. I really get the feeling alot of guys on here do the big inch builds just to say they have a big inch motor. I'm probably gonna take hell for that statement, but it's what I think. Yes I know power is addictive, I drive a Cobra and it's not what you would call stock. Jes sayin. Try the bolt in, you may like the bike just how it is at that point

211 works bests with added compression (mid/top-end power). A good match for the “HTCC” Cylinder Heads or the Twin Cam Performance Heads.

The TW6 is on my list as well. Probably with a +2 key for a little added poop down low.

I just wanna say from experience I have a 08SG and went with the woods tw6 flavor with the sertIthought the tw7 would be too much without the head workwhen i did the cams only upgrade. but if you can afford it find a way to do the 103 and all that good stuff now. For me it was just a tease as now i haveupgraded to the 103 and other goodies as well.

Specially if your paying someone to do all your work Just find your combo that you want and do it all at once It's not that much more to do the heads and juggs.

Another thing too is eat more Adobo Love them pilipino ladies I'm engaged to one Good Luck

Sean

I'm scared cause now i want a 107 0r 113 kit im thinking and no i dont care about the number i like the feel of the tq pulling your *** just want more and love that rush.
