Dupont #7 chrome polish
Anyone know if Dupont quit making it? I have looked at all the Auto parts stores and even looked online and it is like it has fallen off the face of the earth...............turtle wax is available but not the same as the old #7.....anyone know where to find some????...........Thanx

Good question. I used to use Dupont #7. Haven't seen it for quite a while. I've been using Mother's chrome polish. It works fine, but the protection doesn't last as long as Dupont.

I still have a can of the DuPont #7, but much prefer the orange Wenol. I buy it by the can. I use it on my restored muscle car, racecar, machine tools, Street Glide, guns, etc. Very fast and cleans off easily.
