Default Docking Hardware Question?

So if I want to go back and forth from a sissy bar to a two-up tour pac, what is the correct docking hardware I need to get? By looking at the book it says I need docking hardware 53803-06 for the sissy bar, then I want to put the Classic King Tou Pak on there also. Will this same docking hardware work for both?

They are seperate docking kits, but both mount at the same time. Pretty easy actually, even I could do it!

The front mounts for both kits are the same. You really only need the rear portion of the 53804 kit which mounts further back on the fender rail to support the rear of the tour pak mounting bracket. If you look at the parts of both kits laid out you'll see what I mean.

So you really put the two kits on at the same time for real? So what you are saying is you use the front of one of them and the rear is the one you double up basically?

You will need both kits. The sissy bar mounts are forward of the mounts of the tour pack. Do each kit seperately the directions stink so read them a couple times then start. They do not use the same front mount as the newer tour pack racks are different from the 01/02 racks. I have both kits to do as well in the next couple days. My chopped tour pack came today and I have to get it on before Daytona

I just got done installing the tour pac kit on my Eglide standard with the sissy bar kit already on it. You need the complete tour pac kit as both mounting points are different than the sissy bar mount. Installation is very easy, neither kit interferes with the other and both sit mostly behind the saddle bags fairly well hidden. The separate tour pac mount you must buy IS a bit pricey, but having the option of the tour pac for trips and the sissy bar/luggage rack for around townis just what I wanted.
