Well after a long time the dealer finally got to my bike and tuned it. To be fair, the other work required some parts and some challenges, but I'm happy with the guys at the shop and I believe they've done a good job. Here are the results... from a stock 08 RKC... I put SE Slip On Mufflers on before I brought it to the dealer. The dealer put on a SE Stage 1 Air Kit and tuned it with my SERT.
prior to tune: max power = 55. 42 after tune: max power = 68.14
prior to tune: max torque = 76.54 after tune: max torque = 76.54
I have not had a chance to ride the bike yet, but I'll let you know how it feels.
If I could figure out how to scan and load the dyno chart I would, but I can't.
Thanks! Gorgeous bike!!!! What did you do? Fairing, I'm very interested, and what chrome pieces did you use on the engine. If I can ever figure out how to include a pic of my bike I will. Your paint isfantastic!!!
Honestly - The torque seems a little low to me, but hard to say without seeing the dyno chart. I ended up with 77hp and 94tq on my '07 after a pipe and AC upgrade. This is with a 2-1, but I would expect the slip ons to be a good performer on a stock motor as well.
Bottom line is, if it is running good and you are happy, then it's a job well done.
...are you sure those numbers aren't from the BSA!!!!???...after all that cash you pick up 13HP, and NO TORQUE?, and that's it?...[sm=dontgetit.gif]....those are way-low numbers from a 96"...my 88 (05), numbers with true-dual ovals, PC111, and Ness big sucker, are 74hp, and 80 tq....you should be passed that with a stage 1 on a 96"...I would look into it,...somethin aint right bro....

So you gained 13hp, and the torque remained exactly the same?
Doesn't sound right to me.......you should be around 85-90 torque.
Steve
I feel exactly the same way. If the guy was able to get a 13HP increase out of it.....he should have also been able to get a min of 15 LB/Ft more Tq out of her. I would go over that dyno sheet one more time....or have a word with the tech. For example when I just added a SERT to my 03' 95" Screamin Eagle engine on my Deuce, I gained like 15HP and 19 lb/FT of torque. Now I am getting like 99Tq and 94HP......and she Rip's!

That's a very interesting subject. I have the stage 1 and SERT and got 73hp and 86 torque. It wasn't as big a gain as the "salesman" said I would get but sounds like it's about average. Whatis the easiest thingyoucando to get your numbers up around/above 90? I'd like to get some better performance but also would like to keep my mpg as high as possible.
