Default Hooker Tuned Flow Slip-ons

Anyone running these? They sound great but I can't find much info on the best setup. I read somewhere to set the left pipe for Torque and the right for Horsepower. Set that way the left pipe stays fairly cool to the touch and the right pipe gets hot. Is that normal? They do sound good though.

I have them. Both are set to torque. haven't tried setting one opposite from the other. I do "open" them both up every now and then to annoy the neighbors, but rarely run for long that way. I get a lot of decell pop with the baffles opened all the way up. Also, my right one has a couple of spots in it that are starting to turn a gold color. I like the way they sound, but don't care for the megaphone look anymore. Thinking about a set of Rush's or Rineharts.

tried all settings, always too loud and gave me a big dip between 2000 and 3000 rpm in torque, fixed with v&h 2-1

Mine are a little on the loud side, but it is the deep loud and not what I consider the higher pitched annoying loud. And the one on the right does look like it might be turning a slight gold color in a couple of places. Iguess I'llplay around with the settings some. I figured it wouldn't make that much of a difference but it sounds like it might.
