I have an 05 Roadglide that had a weird wobble problem. I could not find it myself and wound up taking it to the dealer. It turned out the rear spokes were very loose. So, if you have spoked wheels, check that...good luck.
I had a similar sounding problem with my '07 SG. I checked the air shocks and there was 0 pressure. I assumed that the dealer would've taken care of this as part of their delivery prep. Apparently, it wasoverlooked. Anyway, I pumped 'em up and haven't had a problem since.
OK, checked the tires, good. Air pressure and tread tracking. The rear wheel doesn't "spin" by hand very easily. I think it's normal, but how much should it rotate by hand?
Checked the air shocks, ok, 14 psi, put it up to 20. Haven't had a chance to ride it yet, but if that doesn't, it's going to the dealer this week.

puggy,
didn't see if you are running spoked or cast wheels? If you are running spokes I gotta agree with John510, possible loose spokes. Raise the wheel off the ground and rotate slowly, lightly tap all the spokes with a wrench and listen, should all have about the same tone to them. Also check the front wheel ( eighter end will will give you the same uneasy feeling and make you think about putting your beer back in the cup holder and putting both hands on the bars). Don't be surprised if dealer tries to tell you spokes are a "maintance item". I.E. not covered, checkbook item.
