I just pulled the plugs off my '07 RG with 800 miles. I rode the bike stock for 100 miles, then put the AN Big Sucker Stage 2 and rode for 700 miles. Here are what the plugs look like after 800 miles... what do you think?
I just ordered my exhaust (V&H slipons) and working on the fuel pak now... I may run the new exhaust with the current a/c for a couple hundred miles before I can afford the fuel management system. I'm sure it won't be a problem, just wanted to know how lean these plugs look.
BTW... if you don't know how to read plugs, please don't comment
pro,,,, no expert on todays HD's,,, but when I showed them my 07 plugs that looked like that,
I was told thats acceptable for todays bikes,,,, I had a hard time swallowing that,,,,
Its gone now anyways!
Temp looks ok, they maybe a little lean but not showing any signs of buring up anything.. need more run time to show anything conclusive. Its good that they are clean, better then all clogged up.
Lookin on the Lean Side.... But then it's a '07 EPA Lean\HOT- Putt - Really shouldn't be running a Air Kit with out the Fuel Management System - Running lean can pitt the head of the pistons and can(see it) burn a hole\s into it....
