I haven't done that yet. I just park it and put the battery tender on it. But then it only sits for a few weeks at a time between rides and not stored for months.

This just floors me, this storing thing you guys talk so much about. Isnt a store a place to go to buy things. Move to South Texas and you will forget the meaning of store your bike

Yes it's an excellent idea. When I was keeping my past bikes inthe shedduring the winter they wereoff the ground on a mcl. jack. My RK is storedatthe mechanics shop this winter, not on a jack, but he moves it around from time to time so as not to flatsplot the tires and whatever.
