What is the torque value for muffler clamps?
Sorry to ask this dumb question but I will admit I never purchased a factory manual for my SG. I know I should own one, no flames please.
Is there anyone that has a manual, that can look up how many foot pounds I need to apply to my slipon muffler clamp?
I recently had to remove them for a repair and purchased new clamps to reinstall.

My '04 Touring Model HD SM says 45-60 ft. lbs. Torque wrench, but no manual--interesting.
Thanks for the honesty. I hope someone will supply the '06 spec, though Iwill be surprised if they are different--but I've been surprised before.
