I have read many posts on the new Rush-Fuel Moto setup with the custom baffles and it seems to be a hit. I have read that fuel economy drops as I would expect with a richer A/F mixture but I would like to know what some of you with this setup are getting for mileage compared to a stock setup on a 96 inch motor. Has anyone had this setup long enough to give an accurate MPG comparison? I know the map can be tweaked to improve mileage but I want to know what to expect with Jamies custom map. Thanks
i just ordered a set and would like to know myself . im adding the mufflers , k&n rk-3910 air cleaner and a powercommander. im more curious about what kind of performance numbers i will see.
I have a 06 EGS with tru duals, Rush 2.25" slip-ons and a V&H FP and I get 40mpg or better consistently. Very happy with my Rush slip-ons. Hope that helps! Bryan
Ditto - I just got my RK-3909 at Autozone for $109 (like the members here sugguested) and I'm thinking about going the SEII pipe route only to keep it all harley (visibly) until the warranty period runs out and possibly picking up the pipes today. I want the heat shields also, and I'm not sure that RUSH has shields available. I am going to order the PCIII from Jamie as soon as I get the pipes, and I'm wondering what type of performance improvements I might get.
According to the Harley catalog, the SE Airfilter, SE pipes and Upload results in something like 8-10 hp more and I was sort of expecting the same with with setup, but hoping more towards the high end.
I would have thought your stock MPG would be higher. Is most of your riding in the city? It seems there is a big variance on what people are getting mileage wise. afriend of mine rides an anniversary Heritage Softail an claims about 50 MPG. I thinkthat's wishfull thinking.Of course it all has to do with how aggressively you are riding and where. I want the performance gains of this setup but don't want to lose too much mileage. I know there are more of you out there with this combo so I hope to learn more.
my 07 ultra stockvaries o lot from tank to tank anywere from 34up to48. its getiing better with more miles 9,000 it also depends an load i do most of my riding 2 up.
