They make some pretty big claims. If the unit works as it is supposed to it would seem to be the only choice for tuning a Harley fuel management system.
They make alot of claims, but from my experience with FI hot rod trucks, I believe them. You need that O2 sensor to let the CPU know what the motor is doing. How much adjustment in built in the controller I would like to know.
But for $525, it does seem like a bargain, but I rather spend my money with a company with a long proven track history.
Iam waiting for S&S to market their Dual Feedback system to my 06. Then I'll make the jump
I thought about going with this unit as well at one time. But if you think about it, unless your frequently changing your engine components and exhaust your better off just to get a professional SERT tuning done. It's alot cheaper. Plus your not hacking into the wiring or piggy backing the ECM with a seperate FI control.
You have to compare the price of a SERT and the Dyno tuning or the price of a PC III and a Dyno tuning to the price of the Terminal Velocity .
Also, it is possible that this unit will out tune or be as good as a good Dyno guy.
I was told by the tech at rinehart that they have been using this system for about a year on all their test bikes. They have added an 02 port on their true duel system to acomadate this management system. He also told me that rinehart is endorsing it and it's going to be a plug in system no more splicing into the wiring. It kind of makes sense, they put this on a test bike and just keep playing with different pipe and baffle configurations instead of downloading a map each time they change something. Give him a call 1-800-934-9739 ext 211 Im curious what others think and he did tell me S&S is coming out w/theirs at the dealers show.
