HI! could you tell meif the OEM 08' ElectraGlide standartis more lowered than the OEM 08' Street Glide is? Iknow that the street Glide is lower than the Electra but could you tell me if the difference comes only from the different seat or does the shock absorber are lower too?
RE: Heigh: difference between Electra and StreetGlide
thanks! I saw the difference on the HD.com but I wasn't sure about the suspension.
One more question pls: what about the front fork? the Electraare more lower thanStreet or HD just change the rear suspension?? do you know exactly how many centimeter (or inch)they arebetween those two bikes?
RE: Heigh: difference between Electra and StreetGlide
StreetGlide has "profile" rear shock. It's lower than the UC. Front forks are the same. I put them on my UC and it lowered the seat about 1". Don't know how many cm's that is
RE: Heigh: difference between Electra and StreetGlide
thanks a lot! can i go head a little bit more?
I'm right if I say: on the 07" Touring Family there are 2 bikes with lower rear suspension than the other one: the StreetGlide FLHX and the Road King Custom Right?
The FLHR Road King has the same heigh than the Electra right again?

I am sure you must be looking for a lowered bike for a reason. I am a small guy-5'7" at 125 lbs. Are you wanting the lowered look? If it is because of you size there are ways of making a uc/ec work for you. I also looked at the sg. I really wanted a uc. Seat mod can give you a 1" drop and there are lowering kits available-lower price than you might think. With the seat mod and droping the bike height you can get around 2" lower. Just a thought
RE: Heigh: difference between Electra and StreetGlide
Hi Dirt, I'm looking for both:I like the look of the lowered bike like the Road King Custom or the Street Glide andI also prefer driving a lowered bikebecauseI feel more comfortable with. You know there is a lot of traffic all day long on my city so a lower bike would help.
Thanks for your advices and feed back,I did some search about the different way to lower a Touring, my goal today is to choose the bestmodel for meon the Touring family consideringhis height, his equipment andhis look, I'm looking for the best choice because I wont do this kind of purchase every year!
