Just took my brand new Street Glide home last night. I took my daughter to school this morning. I put her helmet behind me and it wound up laying on the top of one of my bags. The top of my bag has a big scratch/blemish and looks terrible. I just tried McQuires scratch X and it did nothing. Bummer. Only had my bike 1 day. I am one to always keep my bike spotless too. Any advice on touching it up or do I just have to go get the saddle bag painted?
Did it break through the clear coat? You can have somebody that knows how to runa buffer try before you get to painting it. If you went through the clear paint is the only solution...that kinda stuff really sucks.
Thanks I will call the dealer and see. The button of her helmet got through the paint. It's only the top of the saddlebag. Can't be that much to paint I guess.
