Got a 8 in. aftermarket windshield on my SG and can't get to stop rattling, any tips on how to adjust it?

 

Try adding some insulation weather stripping just below the fairing view.

 

Make sure the fairing is coming together properly around the windshield. Sometimes it takes a little wiggling. Other than that the some sort of weather stripping or padding might work.

Is ita high quaility shield like a Clearview??? Love my 8" Clearview with recurve.

 

The cheaper windshieds are a little thinner and make noise, they just flex too much.

 

felt washers on the bolts might help .

My Clearview is rock steady no noise

 

A line of foam tape between the screws stopped my noise.
